JoyFm once again organised its annual Beauty & Bridal fair with the usual splendour and buzzed activities. This year the event dubbed  'Together Naturally' run for four days and it had more vendors and great attendance. Although I missed the marriage seminar, I found time to attend the Saturday session to see what was new on the wedding organisation planet. Was there anything new and exciting being offered by the vendors?

Definitely more vendors this year with more African themed products and services available such as beads accessories, honeymoon trips to Kenyan Safari's and more made in Ghana wedding apparel. That was encouraging I would say.

I had special interest in the cakes and decor and it was really interesting to see ombre wedding cakes by EKG Cake Crafts. All that icing though..

There was more creative display of wedding gowns on sale by models parading in some gown samples which was refreshing.

Wedding make-up artists from BlackSecret, Exotic Trendz also brought out the full make-up weaponry.

Ghanaian fabric inspired wedding dresses were pretty much on display which was new to the eye. Would you consider wearing on your day or its a western wedding dress all the way?

Wedding decor takes a huge chunk of one's wedding budget and the lush display of crystals and centrepieces on show by Jandel, Essence Decor and Florets were a case in point. I would recommend Essence Decor as I have personally experienced their corporate work before and the service delivery was excellent.

It was all in all, a well patronised event and just in case you bought a copy of the JoyBridal Magazine, you can catch up on my article, 'Friendship or Love, which is more important in a Marriage' on Pg14.
