Ghana has talent! Its only at events like the FashionistaGh Shopping Festival (#fghshop) that you get to see the creativity of young and upcoming designers. This was a one-stop shopping event for the trendy Afrocentric Ghanaian who wants to stand out from the ordinary and be noticed in crowds. The event organized by FashionistaGh took place at The Plaice (no spelling mistake) in the centre of Trade Fair Centre, La.

Mr. Guud Kelly of FashionistaGh doing his thing. I didn't get a tee :(
My friend and i were a bit lost as we couldn't find directional signage to the event, which by the way is around the Round Pavilion.

I went to the event as a photographer and blogger but couldn't resist wearing one of my new earring creations *tongue-sticking out*, which got people asking me where i got them from.

So there were many designers from Mina Evans, Poqua, Inka, Nallem, Kayobi Clothing, etc. There were beads, bracelets, brooches, clothes, shoes, slippers and earrings all either made from Ghanaian textile or African beads.

Rockstones Office was representing for the thirsty buyer. I only wished there were more food vendors ( me and my food)

I noticed that most people who turned up were the young and trendy Afrostylized (my own word) Ghanaians who are loving the use of Ghanaian textiles to make trendy clothing and accessories. They know 'whats up'!
Best Dressed at the festival. I totally loved the look! Retrostylized.
