Former First Lady Madam Theresa Kufuor Passes On at The Age of 87.
News circulating the various national newspapers have announced the passing of Former First Lady Madam Theresa Kufuor.
She was the wife of former President John Agyekum Kufuor and she died at her home in Peduase surrounded by her family on Sunday night , October 1. She was 87.

Madam Theresa was born on the 25 October 1935 and would have been 88years this year.
She was married to the Former President in 1962 and they had five children and lived together for 61years. She was a retired nurse and midwife.

Before marrying John Kufuor, her maiden name was Theresa Mensah. Her elder brother was the late NPP stalwart, J.H. Mensah.
